lionelvaldellon They get along well.
Felicity and Perpetua were Christian martyrs of the 3rd century. Perpetua was a 22-year old married noble, and a nursing mother. Her co-martyr Felicity, an expectant mother, was her slave. They suffered together at Carthage in the Roman province of Africa.
The Passion of Perpetua and Felicitas, written mostly by Perpetua in prison, just says that Felicitas (and Revocatus, one of the men who died with them) was a slave. There is no evidence that she was Perpetua's slave though some people have assumed it.
Good catch!
