Anthony of Padua (b. 1125, d. 1231)
Although Anthony's parents were rolling in the dough, he decided to not indulge in that comfort, but to make himself poor for the sake of Christ, becoming a Franciscan Priest. He later felt a call to evangelize in Morocco, experienced a shipwreck at Sicily, and lived in a cave for a little while, leaving only for mass, and to sweep a monastery nearby. He was also an impressive speaker, and spent some time travelling, teaching and preaching through Italy and France. Legend has it that even fish were captivated by his oratorial skills.
It has only been recently discovered, however, that Anthony also had a secret passion for choreographing musical theater productions, as we see here.
