Can b patron of firefighters?

In the third century (not the kindest century in terms of Catholics keeping their lives!), Florian, a Roman military officer, saved an entire town from a growing fire by throwing a single bucket of water on it (as the story goes). Regardless of whether he threw one bucket, or somehow made a breakthrough in how he applied that bucket of water to the fire, he is now the patron saint of firefighters, chimney sweeps, and all those who guard us from the dangers of fire.

He even has his own website! (Of course, on his website, he has a little cherub throwing the water instead of Florian himself... but he's just being humble).

Major kudos to Florian for having his own website; Saint Paul would be proud!
