Jesus loved us so much that He would probably have consented to die on the cross for us in a tornado or even a tsunami if the Father would have willed it. May our love for Him extend beyond inconveniences and inclement weather!

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy Holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.
Behold, O kind and most sweet Jesus, I cast myself on my knees in Your sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul, I pray and beseech You that You would impress upon my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope, and charity, with true repentance for my sins, and a firm desire of amendment, while with deep affection and grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate Your five most precious Wounds; having before my eyes that which David spoke in prophecy: "They pierced My hands and My feet; they have numbered all My bones."

Hmm, a deviation from the usual form, though I don't think it'd work any other way. Very clever!

Haha this one's clever. I'm not laughing at the Lord's passion, but at the dramatic ladies at the foot of the cross (with the exception of what seem to be Mary and John, none of them seem to be biblical characters so it reminds me of random ladies you see at funerals who probably don't even know the guy but show up for the fanfare and refreshments) and the oblivious people nonchalantly doing things in the background.
